Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to address food insecurities and underserved children in the valley. We believe that no child should go hungry, especially on the weekends. For many kids, the school lunch they eat on Friday is the last meal they receive until the free breakfast at the school on Monday morning.
Types of Services We Provide
- Outreaches to the homeless and those with addictions
- Collect and distribute goods/supplies
- To support local schools and teachers
- We also do outreaches for the elderly and our military veterans.
- Weekend Warriors teams up with other non-profits to address the needs of the community.

It is my honor to say that Weekend Warriors have been a lifesaver for me. I am a teacher in a very poverty-stricken community. There have been many times Weekend Warriors has given my students snacks, paper towels, and hand sanitizer wipes for my classroom. We so appreciate this gracious kindness. Weekend Warriors has helped me and hundreds, if not more, students have something to eat for the past 5 years. An amazing organization with a heart for children and anyone in need. THANK YOU WEEKEND WARRIOR!!!!

I met Mary from the Weekend Warriors at a sporting event. Her group was volunteering in a concession stand, yet she took the time to explain her organization to me and what they do. As a 2nd grade teacher, I am very aware that some children go hungry on the weekends. Mary took my information, and the following Friday, dropped off food bags for my school! If you want to donate to a true, caring organization, please consider donating to her Weekend Warriors group!

We are beyond grateful for the team at the Weekend Warriors! They have supported me with classroom items for the past three years. Paper towels, Kleenex, disinfectant wipes, and even snacks for the kids. All items that many teachers have to pay for out of their own pockets. Thank you, Warriors, for what you do, cause every little bit helps!
OUR PROCESS
Our main fundraiser is to work events to raise money for our organization. If we are working a concession stand at a NASCAR race, drag race or baseball Spring Training game, we are earning a percentage of net sales, and 100% of the proceeds goes in to our organization.
Many of our volunteers have been with us for years, and are retired military veterans who want to help their community through volunteering. We also do huge yard sales with many items we sell being donated to our group.
Also, we are always looking for more corporate/private sponsors that can support us with monthly/quarterly donations or even with a one-time donation. Charitable tax donations are tax-deductible. Please check with your tax advisor in your specific state for more information.
